I have worked in commercial and advertising photography since leaving school and was accepted as an associate member of the British Institute of Professional Photographers in the 80`s. I love photography, it has provided the opportunity to see places and things that I could never have hoped to see in any other job.
I started in photography working as an assistant at Photoflex when I left school , then onto the studio at John Mills Photography to become self employed soon after.
My clients have included Gulf Oil, Mobil Oil, MerseyDocks & Harbour Co, Royal Liver Assurance, The Royal & Sun Alliance, Beaufort Air sea Ltd, Kwiksave, Iceland, Flying Colours, Sun World and Airtours. Airtours were one of my largest clients throughout the 90s, spending several months a year travelling tourist resorts and hotels all over the world.
In 2001, as photography had changed in the late 90`s with the internet and the relative ease of digital photography I felt I needed to keep upto date with current technology and undertook a multimedia/webdesign course at "Connect" at Liverpool university.
Now I am 99% digital and back in mainstream photography .
